The Young Apprenticeship program is a 2 year course run over 2 days per week. The course is for Y10/Y11 students and provides the equivalency of 6 GCSE’s through studying the BTEC Level 2 Diploma in Sport, NVQ Sport & Recreation, Key Skills, IT qualifications and others. Included within the program are 50 days work placement in a variety of sport and leisure settings. The remaining 3 days per week are spent in school taking the core curriculum of Maths, English and Science.
Our specific program is run in partnership with schools in the Bolton Local Authority and has been very successful to date and one of our YA’s won the Gtr. Mancs. Young Apprentice of the Year Award.
